I just noticed that you can easily see your appointments and deal with them in "My Agenda" (under the LOUNGE tab). The agenda opens in the "My Agenda" tab, but there is another tab, "Appointments". It will list any appointments in your calendar and let you work with them (confirm, decline, delete, etc.).
